How many times have you imagined living in "Barbie's house"? Now is your chance to make that dream come true. The apartment, designed by Mattel founders Ruth and Elliot Handler, has just gone on sale for US$10 million.

Named "Barbie's Penthouse", the property was home to the couple and children Barbara and Kenneth, who were the source of inspiration for creating the famous doll, and is located in Los Angeles, California. The site has three bedrooms and four bathrooms spread over 297 square meters.

The property's current owner, Nicola Sassaman, conducted a renovation to honor the iconic Barbie's legacy. To do so, she took great care in Holly Hunt's decorative light fixtures, Venetian plaster finishes, themed wallpapers, custom furniture and a 3.6-metre double ceiling height.

There's also plenty of room for very comfortable plush rugs, plush armchairs and large contemporary artwork. Come take a tour here below in the photos!
