Van Cleef & Arpels' New Frivole Creations Echo the Enchanting Spirit of Nature

For the first time in the Frivole range, the emerald's mesmerising green hue reveals itself in a trio of alluring creations that evoke regal, quiet glamour. Carefully selected by Van Cleef & Arpels' gemologists for their intense green, the vivid gemstones, evocative of a lush garden, mingle beautifully with the enchanting warmth of yellow gold on a minimalistic, elegant floral motif that graces a necklace, pendant, and bracelet.   

Cleverly designed soft folds are used to mimic the organic nature of petals on flourished blossoms, forming surfaces that enable a stunning play of light. Meticulously polished via mirror polishing, a traditional technique used by Van Cleef & Arpels since the 1920s, the brilliance of yellow gold is enhanced to create intense reflections and a dazzling shine. The pieces hence, seem as if they are sparkling under rays of sunshine. 

The rose gold variations see the soft pinkish hue of this precious metal paired with the rarest corundum. Chosen by the masion’s experts for its scrumptious, luxurious, deep red colour, it beautifully complements the pink notes of rose gold evoking a sensual, feminine charm. The most flamboyant offering in the range, the new Frivole features a polychromatic floral composition that is imbued with the vivacity of the plant world. Encapsulating the rhythm of nature, each flower is artfully placed at different heights. Blossoms gently overlap and peek behind one another while presenting a juicy burst of colour in their centres. Displaying depth and realism, reminiscent of a cluster of flowers blooming in a natural environment, five flowers, two studded with ruby hearts and three with emerald pistils, dance in a cluster of whimsical elegance.
