Red carpet style guide: The best celebrity watch and jewellery looks this month
We'll start with one of our favourite looks. For a special screening of Dune in London, Zendaya arrived decked out in several exquisite pieces from Bulgari's Serpenti collection, proving that sometimes, more can indeed be more.
The actress wore several Serpenti Viper bracelets — including a delicate two-coil bracelet with pavé diamonds — stacked on one arm, pairing them with matching rings from the collection. To finish off her immaculate look, she topped it off with Bulgari's uncomplicated Griffe earrings.
Her co-star Timothée Chalamet wasn't to be outdone, either. The Dune star made a bold black-on-black statement with pieces from Cartier's edgy Clash de Cartier collection: Namely, a bracelet and a ring, both wrought in 18k white gold and topped with Tahiti pearls, onyx, and diamonds.
Actress Rebecca Ferguson — who plays Chalamet's mother in the movie — might have worn just one piece of jewellery that night, but she certainly made it count. Ferguson let her maximalist Panthère de Cartier necklace do all the talking: The geometric necklace came topped with stunning emeralds — which acted as the eyes of the twin panthers — a perfect complement to the Swedish actress' own steely gaze.
For the premiere of Marvel's Eternals in London, Angelina Jolie came dressed in a voluminous take on the lady tux. It was a classic look — almost reminiscent of Hollywood's golden age — that demanded a classic set of accessories. She found just the match with the Art Deco-inspired Panthère de Cartier watch and Goldmaster de Cartier ring, both in retro 18K yellow gold.
Closer to home, the Squid Game cast have been making their rounds on the press circuit following the show's wild popularity. Part of the cast appeared on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon — their first American TV interview — glided in some standout pieces from Boucheron.
True to her character's defiant, cool-girl style, breakout star Jung Ho-Yeon kept things on-brand with her jewellery choices. She opted for Boucheron's dazzling Plume de Paon Ear Clips: The earrings' rose-cut diamonds and intricate tendril-like design were on full display, thanks to her tousled behind-the-ear hairstyle.
Meanwhile, leading man Lee Jung-Jae appeared all cleaned up in a classic suit-and-tie look. But he wasn't afraid to accessorise, choosing a snazzy lapel pin from Boucheron: He picked the brand's Serpent Bohème Diamonds L Motif in diamonds and yellow gold. The graphic coil and tear-shaped motif made for a subtle — yet striking — look.
And if you haven't already seen Rami Malek's hilarious stint on Saturday Night Live — in which he parodied, of all things, Squid Game — we'd say it's worth another watch, if only to catch the blink-and-you'll miss it appearance of his steel Pasha de Cartier watch.
Malek's prim collegiate look got an extra layer of charm and depth with the addition of Cartier's sporty dress watch. Though you'll only catch a glimpse of it during the show, the Pasha de Cartier's thick, distinctive bezel is instantly recognisable from afar. Who said simplicity was boring?
