Last night, Bulgari's new 2021 haute jewelry collection was presented in Milan: Magnifica. And of course, it lives up to its name, with the most extraordinary combination of jewellery, incomparable craftsmanship and bold design from the Roman Maison — more than ever at the height of excellence and beauty.
Spreading a message of joy, creativity and artistic perfection, Bulgari presents its new collection of high-end jewelry and watches at a two-day event held for the first time in the Italian capital of luxury and fashion, Milan. Bvlgari decided to honor Milan also for its courage in fighting and recovering from one of the worst-case scenarios of the COVID pandemic in Europe, working closely with the City Council to convey a strong and beautiful message of hope and determination for the future.
With over 60 million dollar designs, the Magnifica, which features 122 never-before-seen artworks, is the most precious collection of fine jewelry that Bulgari has ever created, worth hundreds of millions of euros and hundreds of thousands of hours of patient craftsmanship: a supreme tribute to beauty and high-level craftsmanship and the expertise of Italian mastery.
They range from an incredible 131.24-carat spinel, the fourth in the world in carat weight, but the most beautiful in terms of quality, to a 93-carat Colombian emerald, which is prized in the jaws of a seductive snake injected with a Fascinating sense of movement.
In addition, five wonderful oval pillows from Turmalinas Paraíba, the rarest gemstones in the world, with a total weight of around 500 carats, exude a refreshing sense of purity, echoing the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea that surround the island of Sardinia in Italy.
