Harry Winston and the Path of Love
The storybook journey of a relationship is well-chronicled: A couple meet, they fall into the mad throes of romance, they wed, and they live – as the saying goes – happily ever after. Famed jewellery brand Harry Winston knows this story well: After all, they have close to a century’s worth of experience in catering to that dream.
The house’s latest jewellery collection – the aptly titled ‘Winston with Love’ – represents that journey. The collection has four themes, each with unique pieces based on the different stages of a romance.
With ‘Light’, Harry Winston riffs off the phrase ‘sparks of attraction’ with pieces inspired by fireworks and flames: The centrepiece is a sinuous, one-of-a-kind necklace composed of yellow diamonds, pink sapphires, spessartites and rubies.
‘Obsession’ features bold shapes in intense shades, while ‘Vow’ forgoes the obvious engagement-ring motif and opts for a subtler, more elegant look: The Dual Hearts earrings present a series of delicate gemstones set against the backdrop of diamonds – all set in a way that gives the impression of floating atop the skin.
Fittingly, ‘Eternal’ brings forth the collection’s most stunning pieces. The Endless Love suite of pieces taps on an archival Harry Winston design to birth an incredible motif out of a sea of diamonds and rubies – they appear to twist together almost infinitely.
