Embrace Wild Style with Cartier's New Trinity Designs
Cartier incorporates animal motifs into Trinity's design and infinitely multiplies the geometry of its iconic ring.
When three totemic beasts from Cartier’s menagerie enter the Trinity’s tangle, you’d expect untameable chaos. But what occurs is a charismatic coexistence, as the panther, tiger and snake dance together in natural harmony. Their animalistic motifs are etched onto each of the ring’s interlocked bands: serpentine scales for the white gold, and panther spots or tiger stripes in black lacquer for the yellow and rose gold. Their forms, too, are playfully interpreted: rippled, pyramidal, and rounded — guess their corresponding critters. The wild styles also bring new ways of wearing the cult design, with a two-finger ring and a single earring, while on the all-paved versions the rose and yellow gold rings are raked with a series of hand-chiselled cuts on the edges.
