Discover The Worlds of Chaumet at a New Exhibition in Tokyo
With a history spanning over two centuries, the house of Chaumet has built a vast legacy that is deserving of its own universe — and that's exactly what you'll find at the jewellery brand's new exhibition at the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum of Tokyo.
"The Worlds of Chaumet" exhibition takes visitors through a journey of the Parisian house's history, culture, savoir-faire and links to the arts. Some 300 jewellery creations dating from all the way back to the 18th century to as recent as today are on display at the museum, along with objets d’art, paintings, drawings and previously unseen archives. We're talking exquisite tiaras, glittering bejewelled necklaces and much more. Just take a look at a selection of the exhibition's offerings that L'Officiel Singapore got to see first-hand:
That's not all. There's also a special section dedicated to Japan, which Chaumet has had strong ties with since the late 18th century. Just for the exhibition, Chaumet has also created an exclusive High Jewellery set that revolves around nature — a key source of inspiration for both Japanese artists and the Maison's designers.
"The Worlds of Chaumet" is now on exhibition until September 17, 2018 at the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum in Tokyo.
