Dior Dedicates Pop-Up to the La Rose Dior Collection
Dior Joaillerie presents a precious rose garden as a homage to Monsieur Dior’s love for roses. Immerse yourself in a bed of majestic and burgeoning buds as we celebrate the virtuoso creations of the Bois de Rose, Rose Dior Bagatelle, and Rose Dior Couture lines.
Christian Dior’s enchanting and captivating admiration for roses is the main root of inspiration for Artistic Director, Victoire de Castellane’s vision for the La Rose Dior collection. In an effort to engender the multifaceted femininity of the House, de Castellane explores the different facets of the flower, from its stems to its lush efflorescence, creating a range of innovative designs. All three collections hold different significance to the memoirs of Christian Dior.
Bois de Rose
“A stem that coils around the finger, like a poetic jewel, a romantic declaration or a symbol of eternal love,” says Victoire de Castellane of Bois de Rose.
Bois de Rose is reminiscent of the cliffside gardens in Granville, Normandy where young Christian Dior first cultivated the art of pruning roses with his mother, Madeleine.
Rose Dior Bagatelle
Rose Dior Bagatelle resembles the grand rose gardens in the “Rhumbs” villa in Granville, the childhood home of Christian Dior.
Rose Dior Couture
The latest addition to the collection, Rose Dior Couture, pays homage to Monsieur Dior’s cherished motif, which has been reimagined in the Haute Couture creations and accessories.
The La Rose Dior pop-up will feature all three lines, unveiling a beguiling setting of a garden overflowing with majestic sculptures of roses.
