Cartier Adds to Grain de Café Collection
Cartier's Grain de Café collection is expanded with flourishing pieces that are even more precious than before
A motif of the modest coffee bean first appeared at Cartier almost 90 years ago — after all, this is the house known for tapping on the natural world and elevating everyday objects into exquisite ones. And from the Coffea plant’s fruit comes the stunning creations of the Grain de Café collection, which is expanded this year with statement pieces in yellow gold and platinum with diamonds. The collection’s rings, pendants, earrings and brooches come embellished with clusters of engraved “coffee beans”, which gently sway and rustle when worn. There are even more precious pieces that have been introduced — in yellow gold and platinum, studded with rubellites and diamonds, with the rubellite beads adding another dimension to the floral and fruit-bearing appearance of the Grain de Café stunners.
