What to Know About the Upcoming Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Grab your wings, angels.

Started in 1995 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show has long been regarded as the Super Bowl of the fashion industry. Models like Stephanie Seymour, Tyra Banks, Helena Christensen and Karen Mulder were among the first ever angels of the brand. Almost 30 years later, the show has evolved to an even bigger behemouth than anyone could have ever imagined.

Hosted in cities like New York, London, Paris, Miami and Cannes, the VS Fashion Show has traveled the world and stood the test of time. The brand attracted the biggest names on the runway, including Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, and Laetitia Casta, to name just a few. This year is no exception. In 2023, the company opted for a documentary-styled show titled "The Tour'23," but after a five year hiatus, the show is returning at full force for 2024. On October 15th, be prepared to see models, performances and most importantly angel wings broadcasted live for the first time. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming show.

Victoria's Secret annonced a set of three performers back in September, with the headliner being none other than Cher herself. "It's a woman's world, so it's understood that you can't have a fashion show without the mother of fashion herself," said the brand via their social media announcement. Accompanying the legendary singer is South African pop sensation Tyla and K-Pop superstar Lisa

Victoria's Secret has garnered several iconic models they've bestowed the title of 'Angel' on, and some are returning to the catwalk. Victoria's Secret icons like Tyra Banks, Candice Swanepoel, Taylor Hill and Grace Elizabeth will be walking the runway after many years of retiring their wings. Other models that have been officially announced to walk are none other than Gigi Hadid, Paloma Elsesser, Imaan Hammam, Mayowa Nicholas, and Devyn Garcia. Although watchers could be in for more surprise models walking the show, we'll have to wait and see until October 15.
