You know the news is big if it managed to reach your Instagram feed even in the midst of Coachella. Last weekend, H&M revealed that its next designer collaboration will be with none other than Moschino.
The announcement was made during an Instagram live call between Gigi Hadid and Moschino's Creative Director, Jeremy Scott. The call was also broadcasted to Moschino's annual party at the Californian music festival and on H&M's Instagram page. Simply put: everybody was talking about it.
There aren't many details yet, but we do know that the collection is called MOSCHINO [tv] H&M (perhaps a play on the iconic MTV channel?). There will be pieces for both women and men, as well as a full range of accessories and some "extra surprises." What, exactly, that means, we'll just have to wait and see: the collection will only be available online and in select H&M stores worldwide on November 8.
As a sneak preview, however, both Hadid and Scott had on looks from the collection during their call. The model, in particular, wore a silk shirtdress featuring a compact disc print and a pair of quilted thigh-high boots. Again, we can't help thinking that the upcoming collection will be a music-themed one. After all, the news was announced at the biggest music festival in the world. Plus, we know that Jeremy Scott loves pop stars as much as he loves pop culture.
One thing's for sure: the MOSCHINO [tv] H&M collection will be fun, fresh and full of humour — as is everything else Jeremy Scott does.
