Kenzo's Spring 2018 Film Features Karen O's Latest Single 'Yo! My Saint!'
By now, Kenzo has become quite well known for commissioning videos-cum-ad campaigns by film’s best and brightest directors — Spring 2018 is no exception. This season, the Carol Lim and Humberto Leon-led brand tapped Ana Lily Amirpour to direct models Kiko Mizuhara and Jessica Henwick on a photo shoot within a video shoot, all while wearing the graphic and bold Spring 2018 collection.
The featured clothes were inspired by two of Kenzo’s past muses: model Sayoko Yamaguchi and musical icon Ryuichi Sakamoto. Keeping with the video’s all-Asian cast, South Korean-born singer Karen O soundtracks the short with a new song titled “Yo! My Saint!,” which is also the title of the video. O makes a brief cameo, for those watching closely.
