Here's a Preview of Virgil Abloh's Louis Vuitton Menswear Collection
If there's anything that's on our minds right now, it's the array of heavenly looks that blessed last night's red carpet at the Met Gala 2018 ball in New York. Between Rihanna's Pope get-up by Maison Margiela and Lana Del Rey's ivory Gucci gown inspired by Our Lady of Sorrows, there's already plenty to talk about — but that didn't stop Virgil Abloh from making a different kind of statement of his own.
Last night, the newly appointed Men's Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton arrived to the gala nonchalantly dressed in an all-white suit, decorated with designs resembling Catholic stained glass windows that were apt for the ball's theme. The suit is actually the first design that Abloh has unveiled from his upcoming Louis Vuitton Spring / Summer 2019 Men’s Collection, which will be shown this June.
He's not the only one who got our attention in the Maison's garb. View the gallery below to see how other celebrities (including house muse and campaign star Emma Stone) stole the show at this year's Met Gala:
