The Art of Scandi-Chic Dressing with Danish Influencer Pernille Teisbaek

Possibly the most fundamental rule of Scandi-chic – neutral tones feature heavily in the style. Though neutrals are sometimes teamed with black for a more classic look, the neutral on neutral colour combination is definitely one of Pernille's signatures. She plays with clever layering, textures, tones and shapes to create stylish looks throughout the season.

Though the crisp, classicism of the aesthetic is often maintained, Pernille adds a dose of colour to her outfits by picking one, bright spot colour. The vibrant addition makes for a fun, bold statement amidst the clean lines and neutral hues. A pop of orange is teamed with grey, a juicy, neon-lime green with black and a fresh, mint green with rich, decadent chocolate brown.   

It doesn't get more basic than black and white. Though the black and white combination is often seen in some of her edgier, crisp, ultra-chic and sporty, street style looks, a softer, warmer aesthetic is created with creamy, off-white tones and black. She's even got scandi-chic, retro summer glam down with a cream knit top, '60s cat-eye sunglasses and a flirty, ribbon tie straw hat. Perfect for holidaying in the Cote d'Azur.
