The 8 Moncler Richard Quinn Collection Has Finally Arrived
Here’s something to brighten up your week: Arguably the most powerful collection of this year’s MONCLER Genius lineup, the 8 Moncler Richard Quinn collection has finally arrived on Singapore shore. You can now shop for the entire collection online, as part of Marina Bay Sand's newly launched shopping concierge, with complimentary island-wide delivery.
No-holds-barred, glamorously fiesty and gloriously embellished - these are just a few words used to describe Richard Quinn's vision. The collection for Moncler is a series of stunning pieces, with couture shapes taken into unexpected twists: a collision of sci-fi fashion of the '60s, with Quinn's own added whimsy aesthetic.
Silhouette have never been more graphic, coming in short and sharp trapeze dresses and demure coats with bejewelled buttons that pay nostalgic homage to the elegance of the Sixties.
Prints for the London-based designer take precedence, and much as twelve new and exclusive different patterns were created for the Moncler Genius collection, from flowers to zebra motifs, rainbows to checks.
The presentation of Moncler 8 Richard Quinn earlier during Milan Fashion Week in February opened to much fanfare. The show images were presented in a room designed to look like Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey:
The collection comes as part of the third edition of Moncler Genius, with a star-studded lineup of designers for 2020 featuring Simone Rocha, Craig Green, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Richard Quinn, Matthew Williams, Sergio Zambon and Veronica Leoni, Sandro Marino, Poldo Dog Couture, and for the first time, Jonathan Anderson, of JW Anderson and Loewe.

Richard Quinn established his eponymous label in 2016, upon graduating the Fashion MA at Central Saint Martins, making a name for himself with collections that are bold and emotive, carrying a forward-thinking unafraid vision. Quinn was honoured by Her Majesty the Queen in February 2018 when he was presented with the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design. He also received the Award for British Emerging Talent in Womenswear at the Fashion Awards 2018.
