Celebrated Designer Tarun Tahiliani Comes to Singapore
The late Isabella Blow hailed him the 'Karl Lagerfeld of India'. In 2003, he was the first Indian designer invited to Milan Fashion Week and since then, has showcased his collections globally, gaining fans from New York to London, Tokyo, Dubai, and even South Africa. Tarun Tahiliani is arguably one of India's most celebrated couturiers – well loved for his signature style, which melds rich heritage with historical opulence and an updated contemporary flair.
For fans of Tahiliani, here's your chance to get up close and personal with his covetable designs and meet the designer himself right here in Singapore, come 5 September.
Brought to you by Mélange – Singapore’s leading fashion platform, which showcases the best designs from India and Pakistan under one roof – this is one event not to be missed. Guests will be treated to an exclusive viewing of Tarun Tahiliani's highly-anticipated Autumn/Winter 2017 ready-to-wear collection.
This season, the designer takes inspiration from Mughal armory-inspired art and the nomadic beauty of Indian tribes to create a bohemian collection that combines sensuous occasion wear with a dramatic flair. Though Indian in its sensibility, this collection – with its rich detailing, sensuous draping, and versatility – offers an international appeal to modern women all over the globe.
