Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello continued his exploration of Saint Laurent’s foundational principles in the house’s Fall/Winter 2025 womenswear show during Paris Fashion Week, delivering a collection rooted in clothing's purest form: quality fabrics and precise tailoring. The runway—set within an onyx oval—mirrored the collection’s elemental aesthetic, with glowing walls to add depth to the catwalk.

The collection reaffirmed Saint Laurent’s legacy of simplicity, defined by sharp silhouettes and an absence of excess and maximalism. Instead of over-the-top embellishments, Vaccarello relied on the simple construction of clothing. Stone-washed skirts paired with leather blousons introduced this theme, whereas texture played an innovative role in the sea of these minimalist designs. Classic couture textiles were deliberately distressed, while the well-known Saint Laurent animal and floral prints were presented in a new form: silicone.

On the runway, accessories provided a counterbalance—classy, pointed shoes adorned with satin square roses added a touch of romance, while rock crystal jewellery (a nod to Yves Saint Laurent’s tendency for superstitions), infused the looks with a mystical energy. As a favourite fashion show among A-listers, Saint Laurent drew a star-studded front row with Blackpink's Rosé, Cha Eun-woo, Charli XCX, Austin Butler, and Hailey Bieber among the attendees. On the runway, Bella Hadid—no stranger to the house's runways—exuded the collection’s signature confidence and restraint.

By stripping fashion down to its essence, Vaccarello once again demonstrated that Saint Laurent’s legacy is not just a conversation with the contemporary, but also about an enduring and timeless philosophy.
