Check Out Riccardo Tisci's First Bag for Burberry
As Burberry's freshly-inaugurated Chief Creative Officer, Riccardo Tisci has shown us how he does streetwear, office wear, eveningwear and all manner of outerwear. Now, it's time to veer our attention to his flair for designing accessories — starting with his first bag for the British fashion house.
Enter the TB Bag, which you may recognize from Burberry's SS19 campaign. Like Tisci's designs for the monthly B Series drops, the new bag is fronted by the Thomas Burberry monogram, this time in the form of a bespoke hardware clasp. The bag's boxy silhouette is finely constructed with calf leather and features hand-painted edges.
The TB bag is available in a variety of styles: wear it as a belt bag, or a shoulder bag in small or medium sizes, or hold it as an envelope clutch. Each bag comes with a detachable chain or leather strap, too. For now, you can choose from an array of colours, including shades of brown, crimson and beige. Fans of Burberry's new monogram can also get a TB Bag with the pattern intarsia knitted on the flap. See all the styles below:
The Burberry TB Bag will be available in Burberry stores and online from next week.
