Fashion model, socialite and member of the Royal Greek family, Princess Maria-Olympia stars in Louis Vuitton’s most recent campaign, showcasing the season’s new Capucines bags. As an icon of grace and femininity,  the Capucines bag is dubbed after the very first Louis Vuitton store in Paris, on rue Neuve-des-Capucines. Upon making into its existence in 2013, the elegant exterior of the bag has been readapted from season to season, whilst retaining its classic architecture. Sporting a youthful and vibrant style on the streets of London unveiling the latest must-haves, the style icon and modern princess encapsulates the sprightly spirit of the house.

As the perfect canvas for readaptation, two new colour ways in tonal accents will be joining the Capucines MM (Medium) family this season, highlighting the iconic silhouette of the storied bag. The first colourway includes an all-black exterior contradicted with a warm Arizona shade, accentuated with full-grain Taurillon leather tones of Ruby on the top handle. Brimming in an elegant and bold shade, the second design encapsulates an all-black Taurillon leather exterior as well, contrasted with hues in the same subtle harmony of shades. With its versatile pairing abilities, the sleek black bag is the perfect companion for all sorts of occasions.

The new edition of Capucines is elevated with a jewel-like look; each Capucines bag adorns a delicate gold chain punctuated with the instantly recognisable Louis Vuitton floral Monogram.

Flaunting a fiery bold shade of red, Olympia of Greece emanates the iconic bag’s femininity and sophistication, a strong colour fit that can take you from day to night. 

Just in time for the Summer, the pastel green Capucines bag is the perfect way to translate Princess Olympia’s vivacity onto the youthful and brightly atmosphere of London. With two varying shades applied to the leather, a third metallic shade is introduced to evoke a glimmering effect by which the bag’s surface colour changes and radiates in the light. Clasped with the signature LV symbol, it is enhanced with a precious pearl effect, creating a glamorous lustre.

The Capucines bags will be available in stores from mid-August 2022.
