Wallflowers to Warriors: L’Officiel Singapore’s October 2018 issue

Prepare to turn happy warrior with L’Officiel Singapore’s Warrior-themed October issue.

Our Saint Laurent-clad cover star, 21-year-old Kim Jin-Kyung, reveals how she went on Korea’s Next Top Model cycle 3, some six years ago, without much consideration, but emerged victorious in second place. The multi-hyphenate – now an established model, rising actress, and aspiring café owner – turns heads in an ephemeral series of images, shot in Seoul.

“The issue’s worthy women warriors also take the form of Berlin-based DJ and producer Peggy Guo, artist and Gucci-collaborator Coco Capitán, Bvlgari’s creative director Lucia Silvestri, and Donatella Versace – all of whom have flown the flag high for trend-bucking, and braved their various fields of music, art, jewellery and fashion,” says Managing Editor Ian Lee.

A Warrior-themed issue just would not be complete without the fiercest, most directional Fall/Winter 2018 fashion – and the issue gets just that with exclusive spreads and reportage featuring Givenchy’s ’80s Berlin club-inspired set, Prada’s luminous Linea Rossa collection, and Moncler’s edgy collaboration with Palm Angels (modelled by none other than L’Officiel Singapore’s famous It-girl friends like Mae Tan and former cover girl, Taiwan’s Kiwi Lee-Han).
