Onitsuka Tiger Presents a Contemporary Fall/Winter 2023 Collection

The Onitsuka Tiger Fall/Winter 2023 collection, with the theme "Urban Layering," continues to pay homage to the Japanese tradition of layering clothing. The result is a lineup that lives up to the brand's dynamic, enthusiastic DNA while emphasising an urban style.

There were oversized coats made of faux fur and tailored coats made of relaxed melton, including three button jackets. Collaborating with Zanter, a Japanese manufacturer that specialises in down wear and has been researching and developing down jackets, one of the standouts included the anoraks. The voluminous silhouette was completed by layering the bottoms. Baggy nylon and melton trousers and quilted chiffon shorts with see-through padding were layered over precious boxer shorts. There were ankle and below-knee leather boots, as well as cool, chunky sneakers.

Aside from loose-fitting jacket-and-pants ensembles, there were mohair-touch knit turtlenecks, lightweight quilted chiffon see-through shirts with padding, and tight tank tops. To highlight the femininity of the dresses, sash belts and drawstrings were added. The key palettes included the signature black, as well as grey, beige, and orange shades.
