Meet the Moncler X Lulu Li Project
The creative pairing of Moncler Genius and Chinese artist Lulu Li leads digital AI outfits into stunning reality
Just over the weekend, Moncler wrapped up Shanghai Fashion Week with its stunning "The City of Genius" showcase, a creative display of 10 designer neighbourhoods, each involving a Moncler Genius-worthy collaborator. One of these is Chinese artist, Lulu Li, who sees her collection with Moncler dropping today, on 24 October. Li is an award-winning Chinese artist, a curator, and the founder of design studio, Didelidi, which creates AI fashion collections, designed to stretch the imagination with extreme proportions and gravity-defying features. Together, the pair have made her signature AI fashion a reality. The real-life collection, which has been birthed from her digital designs, is composed of three down jackets, a vest, and urban layers. "Participating in the whole process ‘from bits to atoms’ has been a journey in itself. Images and visions are important, but seeing them realised as clothing has been a mind- blowing experience," says Li in a Moncler press statement. The Moncler x Lulu Li collection is available at the Moncler store at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and Moncler.com.
