MCM's Signature Bags Get a Flight-Inspired Update for SS19
It looks like MCM is starting the year on an uplifting note — literally. The German brand has revealed its Spring 2019 collection entitled "Luft" (that's German for "air"), for which it looked skywards for inspiration.
Fascinated by all things involving flight — think air travel, skydiving and NASA exploration — MCM has created a unisex range of leather bags and accessories for the "21st-Century Global Nomad".
The result? Travel-ready backpacks, rucksacks, belt bags, totes sporting utilitarian details. This season, MCM has introduced Jemison Visetos backpacks that come with an assortment of buckles, straps and adjusters, taking cues from aviation design.
The MCM Heritage rucksack has been updated with zippers, magnetic buckles and other nifty details for the new Raymonde line, or given an array of bold colours for the Skyoptic Visetos and White Logo Visetos styles.
