Inside Louis Vuitton's New Boutique at Changi Airport
To pay tribute to its 37 years of presence in Singapore, Louis Vuitton recently unveiled its very first South Asia airport store in Changi Airport. Situated in the heart of the departure transit area of Terminal 3, it marks the perfect location to highlight the Maison's long-standing travel heritage.
Welcoming visitors to the duplex boutique is its spectacular digital entrance: a 6.5 metres tall LED screen and a see-through facade comprising of a glass exterior and a sparkling copper mesh curtain emblazoned with the House's Monogram flower. Inside, the visual spectacle continues with a life-size model replica of an 1930s airplane hovering in the air. Visitors will discover a selection of men's and women's leather goods, ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes, watches, and fragrances in-store.
A staircase, crafted in wood, leather, and glass, sits at the rear of the boutique, leading visitors upstairs to the exhibition space on the second floor. A series of antique objects from the Louis Vuitton archives have been specially curated for the store opening to highlight Louis Vuitton's celebration of aviation and the spirit of travel.
