Louis Vuitton Flies to Park Güell in Barcelona for Its Cruise 2025 Show
From global stars like Stray Kids' Felix to Hollywood A-listers, the guest list was just as dazzling at Nicolas Ghesquiére's Cruise 2025 for Louis Vuitton.
In the iconic setting of Park Güell in Barcelona—a masterpiece commissioned by Eusebi Güell and brought to life by the renowned architect of Catalan modernism, Antoni Gaudí—Louis Vuitton unveils its Cruise 2025 women's collection. Against this stunning backdrop, where slate and limestone meld seamlessly with the lush local vegetation, Nicolas Ghesquière presents his latest creations, celebrating the Art of Travel.
The fashion show, meticulously designed by set designer James Chinlund, features seating that contours to the park's natural layout. The atmosphere is further heightened by a dynamic soundtrack, blending Gary Numan's "Music for Chameleons" with Malcolm McLaren's "Madame Butterfly." This collection is a journey of discovery, an immersive narrative steeped in Spanish culture, paying homage to opulence and stylistic richness. The vibrant essence of Barcelona, with its vivid colours and rich artistic traditions, is intricately woven into Ghesquière's designs, all while remaining true to the ethos of the LVMH brand.

"Being in Spain I thought of bringing together the drama and rigor of local traditions, mixing them with the extravagance of Spanish influences," said Nicolas Ghesquiére, "I tried to sample the chiaroscuro of the paintings of Francisco Goya and Diego Velázquez and I selected the materials that recalled the historic mosaics of Gaudí structuring layered looks and modernist architectural aesthetics. For the colour palette, however, I was inspired by Riccardo Bofil Levi, who over the years has always been one of my references."
Ghesquière’s collection evokes a nostalgic nod to the 1980s, with satin dresses and jodhpurs paired with long coats. Floral motifs glisten, mimicking the mosaic patterns emblematic of Gaudí's architectural style. The collection also embraces the versatility of ponchos adorned with diverse patterns, seamlessly paired with elegant cocktail dresses. Evening gowns make a dramatic statement, featuring ruffled tops, sleek leather boots, and asymmetrical puffy skirts. Ghesquière’s interpretation of Spain is as intricate and flowing as Gaudí’s architectural vision, capturing the spirit of the city with 36 meticulously crafted looks, launched just before the 37th America’s Cup sailing event in Barcelona.
This sophisticated amalgamation of art, architecture, and fashion underscores Louis Vuitton's commitment to celebrating cultural heritage while pushing the boundaries of contemporary design.
Naturally, the front row was also teeming with stylish A-listers and maison ambassadors from all over the world who flew in to Barcelona to attend the grand unveiling of the collection. From Hollywood's finest like Jennifer Connelly, Sophie Turner, Cynthia Erivo and Phoebe Dynevor to Asian stars like Liu Yifei, Bae Doona, Urassaya Sperbund and more. Garnering an exceptional amount of buzz upon his arrival was also another maison ambassador, Stray Kids' Felix. Check out all the stars spotted at the show below!
