The September Issue: Out Now

The powerful visual underscores fashion’s take-back in our highly politicised and polarised climate, which we relived as we recap the Fall/Winter 2017 fashion weeks that took place earlier this year. Issues including diversity, immigration, feminism, choice, body positivity and sustainability grabbed headlines alongside collection reports – something we felt warrants sustained dialogue in L’Officiel Singapore’s FW17 Dossier.

In this 76-page compendium, we transport readers back to the shows themselves, where cinematic sets and music were part of the magic. “Fashion has always been a beautiful, fantastical world in which to nestle one’s head – and our Fantasy issue gives this escape, despite these turbulent times,” says Managing Editor Grace Tay. “This season, we celebrate the creativity, the rise in savoir faire, the beauty, the wit and the playfulness that lift these otherwise dire times.”

We also step into Louis Vuitton’s enormous shoemaking factory in Fiesso, Italy, and emerge with a report on its incredible devotion to quality, not just design. We get whisked away into the fantastical world of Dior Joaillerie’s Victoire de Castellane, and join our L’Off Squad gal Min-Li Tan on her romantic escapade with Ruinart.

“L’Officiel Singapore proves once again its strength as a key voice in the fashion world with this September issue’s unmistakably powerful cover, and thought-provoking breadth and depth of content,” asserts Olivier Burlot, CEO and Publisher of Heart Media. “We continue to take it to the next level – with reportage and opinion pieces on fashion, beauty, watches, jewellery and luxury life – in print and online at lofficielsingapore.com.”
