Since her appointment at Givenchy, Clare Waight Keller has faithfully honoured the Maison with references to its founder and his design codes. Tonight, kicking off Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, the designer will be presenting her ultimate tribute to Hubert de Givenchy, who passed earlier this year. Entitled "Caraman" — the name of the mansion on George V Avenue where Givenchy had once lived — the collection will undoubtedly include some of the late couturier's iconic creations, albeit updated with Keller's modern touch.
