Life's a Beach: The Prada Outdoor Collection Arrives
If there's one beach that we're visiting comfortably this year whilst masked up and observing social distancing measures, it's the Prada Outdoor Coast at ION Orchard - a series of spaces inspired by three natural settings: the Garden, Coast and Mountain.
The women’s pieces are not for the average beach bum - with Prada's signature black nylon detailing giving a boost (and handy water-resistant touches) to Re-Nylon gabardine beachwear and terry cloth bathrobes. You'll also find oversized cuts in stretch drill with XL logos, modern poplin pieces in beach-friendly stripes, crocheted tunics, and shirts and PJs in contrast double prints - rebellious Prada style. Basics are never just basics at Prada as white tees are covered with a net of crystals.
Not to be the only pebble on the beach, the men’s set is equally compelling with '50s-inspired terry cloth pieces and shorts rendered in stretch poplin with bright block hues or arresting stripes. Fans of Prada men's bowling shirts won't be disappointed with the mix of signature prints here too.
In the accessories department, you'll find a variety of materials, textures and colours. Multi-coloured cotton drill and woven straw decorate shopping bags, while mini bags are crafted from that soft terry and adorned with an embroidered logo. Wooden jewellery with silver charms complement lifestyle-geared beach extras including inflatable rings and mattresses, terry beach towels and cushions, and lunch sets with sandwich boxes and water bottles. That's not all: sports acessories including surfboards with nylon covers, snorkelling masks, flippers and water shoes, rackets, skateboards, frisbees and beach volleyballs complete the extensive Prada Outdoor Collection.
