Kate Spade’s Fall 2022 Collection Celebrates the Little Things in Life

While paying homage to the Maison's heritage in a modern emblem, the handbags and small leather goods range feature a fresh update on the iconic Kate Spade New York plague. The return of the original 1990’s it bag, the Sam Icon, now comes in an array of colours and silhouettes, including a small tote, mini hobo bag, and medium shoulder bag that have been reimagined in colourful leathers and floral-embellished nylon for fall.
Two new styles have also been introduced in the collection — the Katy handbag group comes with a microsuede lining and a versatile colour palette. Its clean lines and textured leather gives the bag a sleek and structured look. Blending sartorial neutral with an elevated touch, 3d leopard print textures are also introduced into the colourway. The Evelyn medium convertible bag is designed with quilted leather, contrast piping and a brushed gold chain that is oh-so-elegant. An abstract edge to the collection, the Dottie style comes in the form of an assortment of multi-coloured nappa leather dots built into a small tote bag, bucket bag and medium tote.
Fall is the season of falling leaves and changing temperatures; with season-specific textiles ranging from silk, tweed, and cashmere to leather and faux fur in the ready-to-wear collection, it best captures the autumnal attitude, while emanating the lush interiors commonly used in homes.
