As they welcome the warmer weather and shed their winter layers little by little, Kate Spade New York toasts to the fresh scents of the season and unveils its Spring 2022 campaign, inspired by the joy that can be found in everyday celebrations. The campaign delivers a specific message, a reminder to find joy in both the unexpected and expected moments, from the tremendous and traditional, to the tiny and surprising events of everyday life.
“This season is about inspiring our community to find the extraordinary in the ordinary,” says Jenny Campbell, Chief Marketing Officer at Kate Spade New York. “The world is facing very challenging times, but our brand has always stood for joy, whimsy and optimism, and our Spring campaign is a beautiful expression of that spirit.”
Orchestrated to a modern rendition of She’s A Rainbow, a classic anthem of self-expression, the campaign is composed of six different vignettes that capture the spontaneity of spring and the energy it evokes. A sunny afternoon in the park, a glimpse of the first butterfly of the season, the campaign was shot by Cass Bird, styled by Stella Greenspan, and features models Birgit Kos, Mayowa Nicholas and Dilone Altagracia.
Kate Spade New York Spring 2022 Collection welcomes the new season with more fresh and colourful looks, more patterns and more joy. While the collection honours well-loved brand codes with a blend of unexpected details and fresh takes on timeless designs, season-specific fabrications are also an important part of the collection. Pops of colours and playful prints add that playful energy to the pieces where sunny yellows and passionate pinks sit alongside springy stripes.
