Kate Spade Launches Fall 2022 Collection and Latest Book in 'Open House' Experience
Kate Spade invites its New York community for a weekend of immersive experiences while presenting its Fall Collection and celebrating the launch of its coffee table book.
Throughout 2022, Kate Spade celebrated its recurrent theme of finding the extraordinary in everyday moments. This Fall, the brand is shifting its focus to honouring intimate gatherings, the comforts of home, and the excitement that comes with sharing one’s home with others.
On March 31st, Kate Spade incorporated its Fall theme in a multi-day event at SoHo’s iconic 214 Lafayette townhouse in New York, creating an “open house” experience to unveil its Fall 2022 collection. The decor included rose-covered wallpaper, cosy plaids and other elements that came together to create that homey feeling, perfect for the collection presentation while an immersive environment allowed guests to truly experience each floor of the townhouse.
On the same occasion, the space was used to simultaneously launch Kate Spade's latest book, Celebrate That! Occasions. Released this month, the new book features a collection of essays designed to inspire its readers to celebrate life’s everyday moments, whether they be small or large.
To celebrate the launch, the townhouse was transformed overnight into an experiential and interactive setting which brought to life chapters from the brand’s coffee table book. Experiences such as custom floral arrangement tutorials led by Delilah Dominguez and sessions on the art of letter writing guided by author LaTonya Yvette were offered to guests as part of the two-day event.
