The brand revealed that the label and Lucie and Luke Meier "have mutually decided that this collection would be the last of their collaboration," per a press release on Wednesday afternoon. The news came the same day as the husband-and-wife duo showed a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/every-runway-look-burberry-fall-winter-2025-collection-london-fashion-week-bohemian-inspired" title="Every Look From Burberry's Bohemian-Inspired Fall/Winter 2025 Show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fall/Winter 2025</a>&nbsp;collection for the OTB Group-owned label during&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/milan-fashion-week-womens-february-fall-winter-2025-fashion-shows-calendar-schedule" title="All The Show Dates of Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2025 To Know" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Milan Fashion Week</a>.
The pair first took over as&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/creative-directors-fashion-coming-debuting-2024-designers" title="Creative Directors Debuts to Watch in 2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">creative directors</a>&nbsp;in 2017, following Rodolfo Paglialunga's three-year stint. The Meiers debuted their take on Jil Sander for the Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Over their eight year run at the&nbsp;Milan-based fashion brand, they've been credited for breathing fresh life into the mark, eponymously founded in 2001.
OTB Chairman Renzo Rosso "wishes to thank Lucie and Luke for their vision, passion for excellence, and dedication to the brand," the press release says.
Luke Meier formerly led design at&nbsp;Supreme&nbsp;for eight years, and Lucie helmed design on an interim basis at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/step-into-the-new-season-with-dior-s-d-journey-bag-jisoo" title="Step into the New Season with Dior's D-Journey Bag" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dior</a>&nbsp;(before <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/every-look-dior-haute-couture-spring-summer-2025-collection-maria-grazia-chiuri-fashion" title="Maria Grazia Chiuri Tells an Edgy Fairy Tale for Dior Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Maria Grazia Chiuri</a>). She also worked at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/fall-in-love-louis-vuitton-valentines-day-collection-fashion-news-gifting" title="Fall in Love with Louis Vuitton&rsquo;s Valentine&rsquo;s Day Collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Louis Vuitton</a>&nbsp;and <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/balenciaga-spring-summer-2025-collection-show-paris-fashion-week-photo-looks" title="Demna Goes Back to the Beginning for Balenciaga's Spring/Summer 2025 Show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Balenciaga</a>. The designers have yet to share any news on their next steps. So continues the creative director&nbsp;shuffle.
In the press release, the Meiers "[seized] this occasion to express their heartfelt gratitude to OTB and the Jil Sander teams who have consistently dedicated their energy, passion, and talent to this project, and [they] are proud of the work they have accomplished alongside such wonderful people," including Rosso.
