Following Jonathan Anderson’s departure, Loewe has appointed Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez as its new creative directors. Anderson, who led the Spanish luxury house for over a decade, presented his final collection for Fall/Winter 2025. Once the news broke, McCollough and Hernandez were widely speculated to be the top candidates for the role.

The New York-based designers, who founded Proenza Schouler in 2002 after graduating from Parsons, gained recognition for their distinctive approach to tailoring and modern structure. Their work has earned them five CFDA awards and established them as influential voices in contemporary American fashion. Known for striking a balance between artistic innovation and practical design, the duo brings a sharp, forward-thinking perspective to Loewe.

“We are incredibly honoured to join Loewe, a house whose values and mission align closely with our own,” McCollough and Hernandez said in a statement. “We look forward to working alongside its extraordinary teams and artisans, whose talent — under the exceptional creative direction of Jonathan Anderson — has shaped Loewe into the cultural force it is today.”

Their first collection for Loewe is expected to debut during Paris Fashion Week in September 2025.
