Gucci celebrates the reopening of its flagship store at The Shoppes At Marina Bay

The star-studded event included more than just one reason to celebrate – since 2021 also marks the fashion house's 100th anniversary.

The reopening of Gucci’s newly revamped flagship store at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands last night was a star-studded affair. Headlined by Mandopop star JJ Lin, the event was attended by local luminaries like Fann Wong, Jeanette Aw, and Rebecca Lim. Other guests included musicians Nathan Hartono, Jasmine Sokko — to name a few — fashion icons like Mae Tan.

To mark its 100th-year celebration, the iconic Rain Oculus at Marina Bay Sands was branded with Gucci’s centennial print, and the hotel towers of Marina Bay Sands and the ArtScience Museum were lit in the signature red and green Gucci Web.

An art wall was crafted with fabrics from Gucci's Aria collection was created exclusively for the store by local crochet artist Kelly Limerick, who was also at the event.

Spanning over two levels, the 10,555 square foot store will carry a wide range of products including ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, jewellery and accessories as well as Gucci Décor and the newly launched Gucci Lifestyle collection.
