#GentleWu: Gentle Monster And Kris Wu Shake Up The Eyewear Scene With A Red-Hot Collab
Mark your calendars for June 25, because that’s when the latest celebrity tie-up from Gentle Monster is slated for release, and it’s a can’t miss. Hot on the heels of a highly successful collaboration with Jennie Kim of Blackpink, the Seoul-based brand has announced yet another red-hot partnership, this time with former EXO member and international pop star Kris Wu.
Titled “Gentle Wu”, the eyewear collection will comprise four versatile silhouettes that range from classic, daily-wear designs to bold, attention-getting pieces, all of which express the triple threat’s edgy style and personality. Logo hardware in the shape of the initials “GW” will also feature prominently throughout the series.
Further details on the new collaboration are rather sparse at the moment, but you can expect a mix of futuristic wraparound frames, retro cat-eye shapes, and sleek wayfarers in black, clear, and neon-bright acetate or metal, with solid or gradient lenses and chain link accents.
