A Behind the Scenes Look at Fendi's Spring 2019 Campaign
For its Spring 2019 collection presented in Milan last September, Fendi introduced a mix of exotic, urban and sporty pieces. The urban jungle of the Italian brand exuded femininity along the runway with hourglass silhouettes and lightweight fabrics, which were contrasted with masculine shapes.
To reflect the spirit of the collection, Fendi has gathered the top rising models of the moment — Kaia Gerber, Anok Yai and L'Officiel Singapore cover girl Adut Akech — for its Spring 2019 campaign shot by Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld.
The campaign pays homage to Fendi's bold creativity, incorporating the collection's modern and exotic vibes. We get a close-up look at the maxi bombers, sweatpants, cycling shorts, raincoats with leather details, blazers with bulky pockets, leather corsets and jacquard organza dresses that we saw on the catwalk.
Go into Karl Lagerfeld's studio and discover the behind the scenes of the campaign in the video below, which features commentary from the models themselves, as well as Fendi's accessories and menswear designer, Silvia Venturini Fendi.
