The Fendi Baguette is Back!
Friendship Day may still be six months away, but that shouldn't keep you from celebrating your BFFs whenever you get the chance. Fendi certainly thinks so: the Italian brand has unveiled a new 3-part video series entitled "#BaguetteFriendsForever" that shines a spotlight on the inseparable ties of close-knit women.
At the heart of their experiences is the Fendi Baguette, the It-bag of the '00s that had its own share of screentime on Sex and the City as Carrie Bradshaw's accessory of choice. Much like how you can always count on your friends to be there for you in any situation, there's a Baguette for every occasion. Both vintage Baguette pieces and new styles from Fendi's SS19 collection are featured throughout the videos, reminding us why the bag achieved its cult status in the first place.
The first episode takes us to Shanghai, where an all-star cast comprising actresses Tan Zhuo and Qiao Xin, as well as influencers Yu Wei and Yoyo Lu, get ready for a girls' night out. There's everything you'd expect: shopping, dancing, karaoke and altogether good old fun. Adding a dose of colour and glamour to those experiences are their stylish companions, the beloved Baguette bags.
