Exclusive Experiences at the Ferragamo Soho Concept Store
The takeover of 63 Greene Street features an NFT collaboration, a custom sneaker hologram programme and a limited-edition capsule.
The Ferragamo Soho Concept Store is Salvatore Ferragamo’s latest foray into the new world where fashion meets tech. Sitting squarely in the bustling district of Soho in New York City, the conceptual retail is 2,600 square feet of experiential action.
Designed with New-York based design studio DE-YAN, the open space champions both the community of downtown Manhattan and the innovation of retail stores of the future.
In partnership with New-York based digital artist Shxpir, Ferragamo has launched a capsule of limited edition apparel. The exclusive graphic print makes its mark on sweatshirts and t-shirts. All proceeds from the collaborative apparel capsule collection will be donated directly to The Center - one of the oldest and leading LGBTQ+ organisations in New York City.
Shxpir designed backdrops for a multi-sensory mirrored booth within the concept store, melding the physical and digital spaces together in an experience like no other. Guests will be captured with a high-spec black magic camera with the backgrounds for their unique artwork. The first 256 interested participants can also mint their NFT artwork on the Ethereum Blockchain via Opensea.
At the concept store, visitors can also take customisation to the next level. Ferragamo’s newest unisex sneaker – 6R3ENE – is projected via hologram in the store so guests can use a large variety of colours and details to customise their shoewear. Exclusively at the Ferragamo Soho Concept Store is where the House’s codes have been reintroduced through a series of eco-friendly materials and practices, including the shoe’s upper made of ECONYL®, and sewing thread made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester.
