Our Favourite Designer Looks From Ariana Grande's New "Positions" MV
Just days after announcing the release of her sixth studio album, Positions, last Friday Ariana Grande dropped the record’s title track and accompanying music video, serving up major girl power and plenty of glamour in the process.
The Dave Meyers-directed clip sees Grande take over the Oval Office as the multi-tasking President of the United States who accomplishes everything with ease, grace and confidence, from meeting with her all-female Cabinet (featuring cameos by her mother Joan, close friends and various collaborators) to whipping up homemade pizza in the kitchen to awarding medals to postal workers, all while hitting those whistle tones.
Coming ahead of the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election, Grande makes a strong political statement with her clear feminist messaging and tongue-in-cheek innuendos. Not to mention packing a visual punch with a sassy but sophisticated wardrobe that nods to ’60s-era Jacqueline Kennedy, thanks to longtime stylist Mimi Cuttrell and labels like Gucci, Mugler, Paco Rabanne, Lanvin, Balmain and more.
