Doodle Me This: Jackson Wang Stars in Fendi’s Latest Capsule Collaboration
Fendi has come together with London artist and illustrator, Sam Cox, also known as Mr. Doodle, for its latest capsule collection that comes as part of the upcoming Chinese Valentine’s Day, also known as Qixi Festival, on August 25.
The special collection showcases Mr Doodle adorning his signature unique style of drawing doodles across some of the more iconic Fendi products, including a ready-to-wear collection and and a range of shoes.
Taking inspiration from the elements that are significant to the French maison, Mr. Doodle includes the words “FENDI, ROMA and FF” with his pen, and combining them with his cutesy characters, for an all over graphic connection of Doodle’s patterns in black and white with yellow touches featuring the FENDI and FF logos, topped with hearts in vibrant red.
And as part of this special capsule collection Fendi has tapped onto Hong Kong rapper, singer and dancer Jackson Wang of GOT7 to model the clothes, which includes pieces from Men’s Ready-to-Wear collection, such as a nylon reversible wind coat and a white regular jersey t-shirt with printed doodles serigraphy.
This is not the first time Fendi has come together with Mr Doodle. Previously, the artist created a personalised Peekaboo in a meeting of his doodle style and the Fendi universe that sported a sweet yellow graffitied patterned print.
The collection is available exclusively in select parts of China, Hong Kong and Taipei, Bangkok, Costa Mesa, and Vancouver. It will be in Singapore exclusively in Fendi’s MBS Store on the 30th of July, with a range of Men’s & Womens Ready to wear and Shoes.
