Dolce&Gabbana Redefines Beauty With Its First Ever Plus-Sized Collection
Dolce&Gabbana has become the first luxury fashion house to introduce a plus-sized collection, expounding on the house's celebration of feminine sensuality and the female form in all shapes and sizes.
For an industry that is so fixated on appearance, size and the notion of 'perfection', it is high time that this mindset starts to shift. The brand's belief is that beauty is not limited to the size of what you wear, but it is a state of being, perspective, mindset and an attitude to life when it comes to the individual, that je ne sais quoi that makes a woman so attractive and set apart.
Starting with their Pre-Fall 2019 collection, sizes run up to a 20 (22 in the UK and 54 in Europe). The house's signature classic floral skirts, lace shifts, figure-hugging dresses and more will also be available in the all-inclusive collection.
