Diesel Brings Back Emoticons For its CNY Capsule
Remember emoticons, those text-based symbols we used to express ourselves with before emojis came along? Well, by the looks of Diesel's Chinese New Year capsule, they're back in fashion and just in time for the festive season.
To celebrate the Year of the Pig, the Italian brand has designed an array of men's and women's pieces featuring an adorable pig face emoticon. The limited-edition 9-piece collection includes leather jackets, shirts, Diesel's signature Jogg Jeans and accessories, all given a dose of street smart edge in the form of asymmetrical zips and classic biker details.
Denim pieces have been stonewashed and faded, trimmed with metallic pendants and leather patches, while Diesel's Jogg Jeans — available in a tapered fit for men and boyfriend fit for women — are finished with a sleek golden spray treatment.
