On October 8th, Coachtopia unveiled its latest campaign, “The Wasted Parts,” featuring actress and Coachtopia community member Lola Tung, along with its newest collection of climate-conscious bags. Committed to the evolution of circular fashion and sustainability, Coachtopia’s campaign brings this idea to life, with Tung dueling herself to bring the brand’s message to life.

In "The Wasted Parts," Lola portrays two alter egos: a climate-conscious Coachtopian and a fashion-forward character. Directed by C Prinz, the campaign showcases the high-energy, high-flying dynamic between the two Lolas while highlighting Coachtopia’s new "Alter/Ego" collection.

The "Alter/Ego" collection features five new bag styles, each created from recycled leather remnants. For instance, the new Checkerboard Shoulder Bag and Hobo Bag are crafted from the leftover scraps of Coach’s Quilted Tabby Shoulder Bag. The collection is unique in its use of leather scraps from its bags, embodying the brand’s innovative approach to repurposing waste material that would otherwise end up in landfills.

Lola Tung, the star of the campaign, reels in on the importance of shopping consciously while maintaining a unique style. “I try to incorporate second-hand shopping into the mix,” Tung explains to L’OFFICIEL. “Thrifting and vintage shopping are great ways to shop more consciously and get quality pieces that will last.”

“I think you can find really great pieces at vintage flea markets where many small vendors sell their stuff.  Those are probably my favourite places to shop at. There is such a wide variety of incredibly unique and pieces that you probably can’t find anywhere else.”

The "Alter/Ego" collection by Coachtopia is now available on Coach’s website.
