"It's good that this century works on the feminine side"

Much ink was spilled over Maria Grazia Chiuri being Dior’s first female Artistic Director when her hiring was announced. After sending models clad in the now-infamous "We Should All Be Feminists" T-shirts storming down the Spring runway, Chiuri has launched the #TheWomenBehindTheLens project, in which nine female photographers contribute their voices to her fresh vision for the house. In this new video series, we get a more intimate look behind the creative process of the photographers.

Brigitte Niedermair, whose shots of Dior’s spring collection grace the pages of our March issue in a Singapore-exclusive, produces images that examine the female body and obscure the boundary between fashion and art in the process. Watch her discuss working with other women in the video below.
