Chanel's Refashioned Boutique Showcases the Best of its Latest Creations
The French luxury fashion House reopens its doors to a glamorous space at Takashimaya Shopping Centre.
Spacious and stylish interiors, endless showcases of ready-to-wear ensembles, handbags, shoes, accessories, watches and fine jewellery, and the very essence of Coco Chanel remain in the House’s newly reopened two-storied fashion boutique at Takashimaya Shopping Centre, Singapore.
Designed by esteemed New York architect Peter Marino, this 865 square metre space represents the best of Chanel’s aesthetic codes – the amalgamation of Paris’ sophisticated soul, the stylistic legacy of Chanel and the quintessence of Mademoiselle Chanel's Parisian apartment on 31, rue Cambon with the incorporation of soft golds, polished surfaces, and tweed furnishings within the space.
Upon first entry into the boutique from the first floor, shoppers will be greeted by Chanel’s neatly-presented accessories, watches and jewellery, leather goods, and shoes – such as the iconic 2.55 and 11.12, J12 watch, and more. Items are all strategically placed for visitors to see the whole expanse of the store in an orderly manner – accessories first, shoes last.
After they’re done browsing downstairs, Chanel’s discreetly hidden staircase will take shoppers to the second floor where they can expect to find ready-to-wear collections (currently the Chanel Cruise 2021/22 Ready-to-Wear collection) by Artistic Director of Fashion Collections Virginie featured around the space. More tweed furnishings and commissioned artwork also line the walls of the store to create a more personal touch to the area.
If you’re looking to embrace the timeless nature and grandeur of Chanel this December, make your way down to Takashimaya to feel the space for yourself. A refined experience awaits you.
