Mystery surrounds the elusive Gabrielle, the handbag introduced during the Spring/Summer 2017 runway show that bears the name of the founder of Chanel. With the launch of his new creation, Karl Lagerfeld has unveiled a series of new short films, starring Kristen Stewart, Cara Delevingne, Pharrell Williams, and Caroline de Maigret, in which the magical, almost mystical aura of Gabrielle Chanel is ever present.
Directed by Daniel Askill, the first part of the series stars Kristen Stewart and is "...ultimately the search for Gabrielle's spirit, and the sort of fight that you can have with the idea of someone disappearing."
