This year's annual CFDA Fashion Awards were a perfect night of celebration and glamour.
Hosted by the Council of Fashion Designers of America and sponsored by Amazon Fashion, the night celebrated creativity and social responsibility Monday evening in New York City, recognizing the designers and personalities who have influenced the fashion world over the past year. Diotima designer Rachel Scott took home the award for American Womenswear Designer of the Year, and Willy Chavarria won American Menswear Designer of the Year for his work under his eponymous label.
Hosted by Wicked star Cynthia Erivo, the event welcomed celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Tyla, Troye Sivan, Blake Lively and Sebastian Stan. Erykah Badu won the Fashion Icon Award for decades of her impactful style.

- Positive Change Award: Michael Kors, for his social commitment through the Watch Hunger Stop campaign in support of the UN World Food Programme.
- Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award: Stephen Burrows, African-American fashion pioneer.
- Fashion Icon Award: Erykah Badu, for her unique and innovative style.
- Media Award in Honor of Eugenia Sheppard: Annie Leibovitz, for her contribution to fashion photography.
- Innovation Award by Amazon: Stuart Vevers for Coachtopia, Coach’s eco-sustainable line.
- Founder's Award in Honor of Eleanor Lambert: Hamish Bowles.
- Google Shopping American Emerging Designer of the Year: Henry Zankov for Zankov.
- Isabel Toledo Board of Directors' Tribute: Ruben Toledo, in memory of Isabel Toledo.
The "International Designer of the Year" award went to Daniel Roseberry, the creative director of Schiaparelli and the first ever American to ever lead a haute couturier maison. "With his bold and surreal style, Roseberry has continued the legacy of Elsa Schiaparelli, adding a contemporary twist that has won over celebrities and critics alike," the CFDA said, handing the award to the 39-year-old designer. "At Schiaparelli, we strive to create something that transcends fashion, and this award is a significant recognition for all of us," Roseberry added.
