Celine's New Face Is A TikTok Phenomenon
Move aside, Instagram influencers, it’s time for TikTok teens to shine. The viral video platform has exploded in popularity over the past year, having been downloaded more than a billion times in just 12 months, and now one of its biggest stars is set to conquer the fashion world as well. Celine has cast TikTok phenomenon Noen Eubanks as the face of its latest campaign, calling the 18-year-old a “teen idol”. Lensed by creative director Hedi Slimane (who shoots all Celine campaigns himself), the e-boy flaunts his enviable pout and toned abs in a striped crop top, belted jeans, and leather biker jacket from the latest Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
Eubanks has amassed more than 7 million followers on the app with his motley mix of videos, largely of him lip-synching and dancing with the occasional confessional thrown in, some of which have racked up more than 100 million views. In the same vein as Harry Styles and Timothée Chalamet, the Gen Z teenager isn’t afraid to embrace a more feminine aesthetic, often calling himself a “flower boy”. He looks every inch a classic Celine muse, and we're curious about what the luxury house will do with him next.
