Meet Celine's New Global Ambassador: Danielle of NewJeans
4th Gen K-Pop global star, Danielle of NewJeans is the new Global Ambassador of Celine.
Danielle of NewJeans is joining the likes of Blackpink's Lisa, BTS' V, and South Korean actor Park Bo-gum, as the newest global ambassador for Celine. In the announcement, Danielle is photographed in black and white wearing a Celine tee, jacket, and denim jeans.
The 18-year-old Australian-Korean Kpop idol is part of the girl group NewJeans which officially debuted on August 1, 2022, with the EP New Jeans. The girl group is known for their R&B, electropop, hip-hop sound and has taken the world by storm, topping Billboard charts and even performing at Coachella last year. The group has also taken home multiple awards since their explosive debut including Daesangs at renowned music ceremonies like the MAMA and melOn Music Awards. Recently, the K-pop quintet added another huge accolade to their list of achievements after winning the 'Group of the Year' category in the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards.
This isn't Danielle's first big fashion partnership as she is also the global ambassador for British fashion label as of January last year. She also has fashion partnerships as part of NewJeans such as with denim brand, Levi's and sportwear brand, Nike of which the group recently had a capsule collaboration released. Beyond fashion, Danielle is also the face of YSL Beauty, showing her incredible influence in the realms of both beauty and fashion.
