Celebrities Embrace the New Celine by Hedi Slimane
It’s been a year of change at Celine. In early 2018, it was announced that Hedi Slimane would succeed Phoebe Philo and lead as the brand’s artistic, creative and image director. Fast-forward to the highly anticipated showing of his debut collection where we saw his vision for the French brand. And just last week, Slimane unveiled the brand’s first-ever menswear campaign.
Though the brand’s aesthetic has been redesigned, celebrities have been embracing the new Celine by Hedi Slimane. Lady Gaga was the first to carry Slimane’s first bag for Celine and other celebrities, such as Angelina Jolie and Lisa from Korean girl group BLACKPINK, have also been spotted toting the new Celine 16 Bag around.
